Dutch Appelflappen / Apple turnovers
I love any dessert with apple, whether its an apple pie, apple muffins, or APPELFLAPPEN. This incredibly delicious dessert tastes so good and is available all year round at every bakery in the Netherlands. Making your own is so easy and your kids will love them. What apple should you use? The golden delicious is widely used in the Netherlands because these apples are available all year round, but you can use Goudreinet, Elstar en Jonagold or any tart apple that you can buy in your country.
Try this delicious appelflap and let me know what you think!
Love, Caroline
