Nothing satisfies me more than drinking a berry-laden smoothie, bursting with antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, as well as fiber to get me kickstarted for a busy day ahead! This Blueberry-Banana and Oats Smoothie does just the trick and helps me stay energetic while homeschooling my 3 “monkeys” 😜. And trust me when I say, homeschooling can suck every ounce of energy out of you 😅…. So though it is not officially FDA approved, this is my natural remedy for staying sane💆!
This smoothie can literally be thrown together in under 5 minutes! It’s a great “grab and go” breakfast for anyone having to rush to the office, and what’s more, kids love it too – which is always a huge plus!

INGREDIENTS – serves 4
2 cups Greek yogurt
2 cups frozen blueberries
2 frozen bananas
2 tsp honey (optional)
¼ cup oats
Ice cubes (optional – particularly for people living in tropical/warmer countries, where the frozen fruit melts fast!)
METHOD
Add yogurt, blueberries, bananas, honey and oats to the blender and blend until well incorporated and the frozen fruit is completely pureed.
Enjoy as a replacement or accompaniment for your breakfast!
