Tutti Frutti - Fruit Salad
It is a
beautiful summer day in the Netherlands, and one thing I love about summer is
all the fresh fruits that are available. For instance the Dutch strawberries
which could potentially be the sweetest and best strawberries in the world 😊
When I was
reading Helena’s kidsproof recipe on monday- I thought it might be nice to add
a delicious dessert that will make anyone happy! My mom’s Tutti-Frutti - this
desert looks so pretty with all the vibrant colors, and it’s so healthy and
delicious.
With the
right quantity and type of fruits, a fruit salad can work wonders for you, for
it will provide you with a power-packed dose of fibre, vitamins and
antioxidants. At the same time, you will also get a wide range of health
benefits, right from lower blood pressure levels to weight management.
For this
version I combined a variety of delicious fruits: pineapple, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries,
nectarines and added freshly squeezed orange juice and some mint leaves. You
can make this a few hours in advance, the flavours will only get better, and
the orange juice will ensure all the fruit retains their colours😋
